TV: Eastlink | Radio: News 95.7 | Live: @HFXMooseheads
Scotiabank Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

It's home opening weekend at the newly rebranded Scotiabank Centre and just like last season we begin it with a visit from the Moncton Wildcats. After a split last weekend, your Halifax Mooseheads will look to be better and should be with the additions of Danny Moynihan and Philippe Gadoury who are coming from NHL rookie camps. With the alst home opener win being in 2011 will the Herd be able to break that streak? Well they won't have the discration of hanging banners and a long ceremony to hold them up this season but with an inexperienced team it should be an interesting and exciting game. Inexperience might actually work to be in the team's favour this year as the whole team will want to show the fans in Moose Country that it isn't the rebuilding stage yet. We're going to ahve to wait and see but come out and be apart of the excitement. Moncton will be itching to ruin the home opener once again however.
