A year ago today we opened the season at home raising two championship banners. This season, many analysts have your Halifax Mooseheads finishing in the middle of the QMJHL standings. With nine new faces on the team this season, it should make for a very interesting year.

Halifax will need to get off to a good start as to not put themselves in a hole but they will have to do it without some key players and even more inexperienced players in the lineup this weekend. Earlier this week, the Mooseheads called up goaltender Christopher Langlais, defenseman Brandon Worthen and forward Makail Parker. How will the new faces pan out? Well we will have to wait and see but their first test will be against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan tongiht. Former Herd player Andrew Ryan made the Titan roster this season after being traded in the summer but will not be in the lineup tonight as he is at Minnesota Wild camp.
