GAMEDAY 43: vs Moncton

IT'S GAMEDAY
HALIFAX MOOSEHEADS vs. MONCTON WILDCATS
Puck drops at 7:00pm
Metro Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

PREVIEW - The Moncton Wildcats once again come into Moose Country on an event night. This is the third event game that the Cats have been a part of this year and it won't be their last this season. It's also the most funnest game for little kids. The annual teddy bear toss event goes tonight at the Metro Centre when Moncton claws their way into Moose Country and your Halifax Mooseheads try to stop them in thier tracks. Depsite being half way down the standings, Moncton has been one of the best teams in the Q as of late winning 9 straight before the Christmas break. The Moose on the otherhand have only won 4 of their last 10 games and with 3 of them coming after the holidays. They look to continue the winning streak this weekend. New comer Brendon Vuic will make his home debut and newly signed Philippe Gadoury will make his debut tonight.

In the last game before the Christmas break the Wildcats took a very close game 2-1 in Halifax. Connor Moynihan had the Herd's only goal. Shots were close too with Halifax getting the upperhand 37 to 36.

Moncton's last game was against an Islander team that looked different on Sunday than the one on Wednesday. Christopher Caissy had the Wildcats only goal and despite making 43 saves Jason Rioux could not help his team in a 5-1 loss.
