Ehlers Ranked #22 at Mid-Season

He's not just impressing the fans of Halifax, he's impressing the whole hockey nation and he'll get another chance to continue to impress on Wednesday in Calgary.

QMJHL leading rookie scorer Nikolaj Ehlers was ranked #22 on the Central Scouting Services mid-season rankings for North American skaters. The rankings were released this morning and have two other Mooseheads on the list. Danny Moynihan was ranked at #66 while second year draft eligible player Matt Murphy was at #105.

There's no gaurentee that any of the three players will stay where they are as the season goes along and neither is there a gaurentee that they will get picked where they are ranked.

Ehlers will also play for Team Orr on Wednesday for the BMO CHL Top Prospects game. Cheer him on on Sportsnet after the Mooseheads/Islanders game.

Congrats to all three Mooseheads players, for the full list click here. Keep checking on my blog for more posts as this story progresses and the 2014 NHL Draft gets closer.
