#1 Halifax Mooseheads vs #8 Rouyn-Noranda Huskies

Your Halifax Mooseheads and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies announced their schedule for their third round matchup.

HALIFAX - For the second year in a row, the Halifax Mooseheads are going to the Q league semi-finals but this time around it will be against the 8th seeded Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. The third step towards the Cup will start on Saturday night after a 9 day layoff for the Moose. Rouyn-Noranda comes into the series as underdogs but will most likely be a much harder opponent for the Herd as they defeated Drummondville and Quebec in the first two rounds. The #1 ranked team however have not lost in regulation for their last 25 games after two sweeps in the playoffs.

FOURNIER - It will be a battle of the Fournier brothers in this series as our very own Stefan will go up against his younger sibling Dillon who plays for the Huskies.

LAST GAME - Rouyn-Noranda are coming off a big 6-1 Game 5 win of Round 2 this past Friday. While Halifax won Game 4 against Gatineau on Wednesday by a 5-3 score to sweep another series in Round 2.
