This is the first
game of the best-of-seven series.
PREVIEW - Eight games down, eight games to go and it all continues tonight in Halifax.
The Halifax Mooseheads are once again in the semi-final round for the second straight year, this time against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Last year, the Moose won their quarter final matchup against Quebec 4-3 after being down in the series 0-3. This year the Herd have had an easier time to get to this point in the playoffs and are expected to put away the Huskies almost just as quickly as the other two series.
Halifax ended the season at #1 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with a 58-6-3-1 record. Rouyn-Noranda finished the season at 8th in the League with a 40-24-1-3 record.
The Huskies will once again be underdogs as the were outscored in two games 13-5 against the home team.

Halifax went 2-0-0-0 against the Huskies this season while Gatineau also went 1-1-0-0 against the Mooseheads.
