PREVIEW - The fans at the Metro Centre got their first scare of this year's playoffs in Game 2.

Just like in Game 1, there was a penalty early with the Mooseheads scoring on it. This time it was Halifax who got a penalty and Jonathan Drouin scoring shorthanded. Rouyn-Noranda were able to pull ahead after that in the first 10 minutes. The period ended with the Huskies leading by two goals and a score of 4 to 2. Neither team scored in the middle frame. Nathan MacKinnon scored early in the third period to close the gap to one goal. Ten minutes later, Andrew Ryan brought the whole building to their feet when he scored the tying goal. Both teams pressured in the last five minutes but neither could get past the goaltenders.

Overtime was pretty intense. Rouyn-Noranda was the only one to get penalties in the extra frame with a total of four minutes. I thought the crowd was the loudest I have ever heard after the tying goal but it was even louder after the winning goal. I think there was only one person sitting after Marty Frk's game winner and she was sitting beside me but everyone was cheering loudly.

After the first period where the Huskies outshot the home team, the Herd outshot them 25-10 in the last two periods plus overtime including a 10-3 middle frame.

NOT PLAYING - Trey Lewis will not be playing tonight.
