Former Mooseheads player to make NHL debut tonight

Former Halifax Mooseheads forward Alexandre Grenier will make his NHL debut tonight when his Vancouver Canucks visit the Winnipeg Jets. The Canucks called up the 24 year old this afternoon as the team has 3 players out of the lineup due to injury. Originally from Laval, QC, Grenier has been playing the last three seasons for Vancouver's farm team; the Utica Comets.

In his one season with the Herd, Alexandre collected 25 goals and 64 points.

Fans can watch the game on national television on Sportsnet.
