Our Halifax Mooseheads will appreciate the member of the Canadian Forces tonight when they welcome the Drummondville Voltiguers to the Scotiabank Centre. The game marks the 16th annual DND Appreciation night where the boys will wear special commemorative jerseys that'll honour the 50th anniversary of the tragedy on board HMCS Kootenay. Fans will be able to buy raffle tickets once again for a chance to win a jersey, with proceeds going to the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Garden. Halifax continues to struggle lately with coming off a 4-3 overtime loss last Saturday to the Saint John Sea Dogs after defeating the last place Bathurst Titan. The Volts are on a bit of roll, winning seven of their last 10 games including doubling up on those Titan last night. Drummondville will be without leading scorer Dawson Mercer as he is currently serving a suspension while the Mooseheads are still without Walter Flower and of course Jared McIsaac.

This is the second meeting between these two teams this season. Halifax is 1-0-0-0 against the Voltigeurs while Drummondville has a 0-1-0-0 record versus the Mooseheads. The last match-up was on October 2 where Halifax won 5-1 on the road with Raphael Lavoie leading the good guys with a goal and 2 assists.
