Your Halifax Mooseheads are in the second round again. A day after the city was announced as the host for the 2019 Memorial Cup, the boys on the ice will look to put that excitement away and get back to work against the Charlottetown Islanders when their series gets underway this evening in Halifax. Charlottetown was kind of a surprise opponent for the Herd but nothing is ever easy or the way you think it will turn out in the playoffs but this just means that this 2nd round series could go either way so hold on to your seat. Halifax will be looking to make it to the third round for the first time since 2014 while the Islanders hope to make the semi finals for the second straight season. Both teams have been good on the penalty kill during the playoffs with the Moose leading the league at 93.3% and the Isles are 5th at 88.2% on the PK.
