With 24-2-4 record, the Varsity Reds go into the playoffs as 1st place in the AUS but ranked second in the nation and will be looking to get back to the championship game. In second place are the X-Men with a 22-4-4 record who will join UNB as teams with byes to start the post season.
Four of the six teams to extend their seasons have players who have previously played for your Halifax Mooseheads. The Tigers have the most Herd alumni this season with 4, while Saint Mary's and UNB have 3 former Moose players and lastly the Panthers have two.
