The Halifax Mooseheads announced today that they have traded a couple of veteran defensemen to a couple of Quebec teams. 19-year-old Jean-Sebastien Taillefer and 18-year-old Morgan Nauss were sent to the Gatineau Olympiques and Chicoutimi Sagueneens respectively for draft picks.

Taillefer played the last two seasons with the Herd after being drafted in 2013 by the team. The Les Coteaux, QC native picked up 4 goals and 14 points over his time with Halifax. Nauss also played 2 seasons with the Moose and had a really good rookie season scoring 3 goals and 18 points in 2014-15. The Hammonds Plains, NS native then added 5 points last year.

Moose Country would like to wish both Morgan and Jean-Sebastien good luck on their new teams during the upcoming season.
