Herd Add Veteran Defenceman

The Halifax Mooseheads announced this morning that they have added a 20-year-old defenceman to the roster which will solidify the over-age situation on the team to start the season.

Halifax has gained the services of Orleans, ON native David Lafrance and general manager Cam Russell says he will be on the roster when the regular season opens in October. He joins forward Zack Jones and fellow defenceman Brendan Tomilson as the three 20-year-old players on the team.

Lafrance played in 111 CCHL games between the Gloucester Rangers and Rockland Nationals collecting seven goals and 44 points before playing the 2020-21 season in the NCAA at Robert Morris University. He will report to training camp on Saturday along with the other veteran players.

Welcome to Moose Country, David.
