Peeters Scores Twice for Austria

Current Halifax Mooseheads rookie Senna Peeters is playing for his country right now at the 2020 World Junior Championships - Division 1 tournament this week and he's played pretty good.

The 17-year-old scored two goals today, helping Austria to a 4-2 victory over Denmark. Peeters also has an assist for three points and is third in team scoring (tied for 11th overall). Austria has a record of two wins and a loss. Senna and the Austrians will play two more games during the tournament, on Friday and Sunday.

The U20 Division I - Group A tournament is being hosted by Minsk, Belarus and showcases five teams going head to head during the week. Austria is joined by Belarus, Denmark, Lativa and Norway. The team with the best record will be promoted to the Top Division.
