Theme Nights

We've known the regular season schedule for our Halifax Mooseheads for a couple of months but now the team has released their list of promotional games that will take place during 2025-26. I'll highlight the more special/annual events happening below.

The Halifax Mooseheads released their promotional schedule recently and it looks a bit different from years past, but below you will find the annual charity events that happen. It seems that once again the Hurley Cup will not be played but I hope that they change their minds because it is one of my favourite events.

2023-24 Promotional Schedule

The regular season schedule was announced at the beginning of the summer and the Halifax Mooseheads haven't officially announced their events as of the writing of this post. However, they were listed on the form that people who bought 15-game packages received. So I'm going to do this post a little different this year and give you the full promotional schedule below.

As you can see, there seems to be no teddy bear toss this season and we'll have to wait and see if the New Year's Eve match will be the normal Hurley Cup/Battle of Nova Scotia special event game. I'm not sure why the team never have the DND appreciation game on Remembrance Day if they play that day.

Check out below for the dates of the yearly special games. With the 2023 World Juniors being hosted in Halifax free Christmas, there is no Battle of Nova Scotia event this year.

The Halifax Mooseheads have announced their promotional schedule for the 2021-22 regular season and there are a change to one of the yearly charity events. Pink in the Rink will not be played in October like normal, instead it is being replaced by a Mooseheads Fights Cancer night. The full list of promotional nights can be found in the schedule tab above but below you will find the yearly charity events.

The schedule was released months ago and the Halifax Mooseheads have finally announced the dates of their annual events for the 2019-20 season. All the charity events are before the new year this season which is different but there are plenty of special nights all season long.

Events

The schedule for the upcoming season was released earlier this week and the Halifax Mooseheads announced the dates for most of their 2016-17 season events. The date for the DND Appreciation night game has yet to be released but it's possible we'll see it being played on Remembrance Day.

Events

The city of Halifax and the Halifax Mooseheads will host another big event this season along with their annual events. The CHL Subway Super Series versus Russia will hit Moose Country on November 19, 2015. Halifax will not end the season at home this year and the Battle of Nova Scotia events have come back this season.

Events

The QMJHL released the regular season schedule a few months ago and this year is a little bit different if you noticed. There are two home and home series between the Nova Scotia teams but neither are in December after Christmas which means no Battle of Nova Scotia events. Talking about December, there will be a New Year's Eve game for the first time in years.

Events

The schedule was released months ago but the Mooseheads are just now announcing their annual events schedule. The 20th season will be kicked off in a special way this year after the Herd won both the President's Cup and Memorial Cup. The banners will be raised on opening night.

Big year in Moose Country (and events)

This is a big year for the Mooseheads. Along with the annual game events, the city of Halifax and the Herd are the host of the 2013 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game which is being held at the Metro Centre on January 16, 2013.
