Game Day 9: vs. Val-d'Or

PREVIEW - Your Halifax Mooseheads continue their six-game homestand as they welcome the league best Val-d'Or Foreurs to the Scotiabank Centre for some Friday Night Hockey. The Mooseheads have started the month of October on a strong note, picking up victories in both games played so far this month. They'll have to play their best as the Foreurs currently lead the QMJHL and are on a three game win streak. Val-d'Or also has the league's leading point getter in Phillipe Veilleux and leading goal scorer in Maxime Sauthier. After opening the season with 8 points in two games, Halifax forward Quinn Kennedy has cooled off but if the Herd hope to win tonight they will need the 20-year-old to get back on the score sheet. It should be an interesting match and a great way to start the weekend.
