Poll 25 Result

Last week I asked on Twitter who you think will be the next captain of our Halifax Mooseheads for the upcoming season. The poll is now over so below are the results. It will be interesting to see who actually will be named, I am not sure when the team will make the announcement. 

Quinn Kennedy   - 11%
Owen Phillips   - 63%

Connor MacPherson   - 0%
Liam Kilfoil   - 26%

As you can see, about two thirds of those who voted believe that Owen Phillips should be named captain. 

Owen is going into his 4th season with the Mooseheads, in 2024-25 he picked up 3 goals and 19 points. The 19-year-old will turn twenty in January and wore an A on his jersey last year. I'm not sure who is set to get the C but I suspect we'll see Cam Russell and brass share the news before the start of the regular season.
