Scotiabank Centre (10,595) ~ Halifax, NS

Our Halifax Mooseheads will face their biggest test of the season this afternoon as they welcome the league leading Rouyn-Noranda Huskies to the Scotiabank Centre. The Huskies lead the QMJHL with 34 wins and 69 points so far in 2018-19. Halifax is no slouch either though, the Mooseheads have 29 victories in 41 games and are second in their conference. Surprisingly, Rouyn-Noranda only has one player in the league's top 5 scorers but they do have the best goaltender in Samuel Harvey who leads all eligible goalies in goals against average and save percentage. The team as a whole have let in the least amount of goals with only 90. It should be a low scoring tight match up as Halifax has let in only 13 more goals than the Huskies and Alex Gravel is third in the Q in save percentage. Hopefully we'll be in for a good game with the home team picking up their 30th win.

This is the first game between these teams this year. Last season, Halifax was 1-1-0-0 against the Huskies while Rouyn-Noranda had a 1-1-0-0 record versus the Mooseheads. The last matchup was on December 9 where Filip Zadina and Jared McIsaac had a goal and an assist each in a 7-2 loss in Rouyn-Noranda.

Overall Records
Huskies: 34-7-0-1 = 69pts (1st overall, 1st in West division)
Mooseheads: 29-9-2-1 = 61pts (4th overall, 1st in Maritimes division)

Leading Scorers
HAL: Samuel Asselin 49pts (29G & 20A), Raphael Lavoie 43pts (19G & 24A), Antoine Morand 41pts (14G & 27A)
ROU: Peter Abbandonato 70pts (20G & 50A), Alex Beaucage 48pts (22G & 26A), Rafael Harvey-Pinard 45pts (19G & 26A)
