Q Draft: No Trades on Day by Moose

Here's a recap of today's QMJHL Entry Draft that was held in Shawinigan, Quebec. A list of the players your Halifax Mooseheads drafted are below.

For the first time in awhile, Cam Russell didn't make any trades on draft day but he had moved two picks yesterday leaving the club with 15 selections to make. The Moose had a pick in all 14 rounds except for the 10th round. Halifax drafted 5 Nova Scotians while 27 were selected throughout the day. The club also picked a German-Canadian with their first selection in Samuel Dube, who did not attend the draft but his grandfather did and he was very proud that Samuel had been drafted by the Herd.
