Today, the CHL announced the captains, alternate captains, and coaches that will participate in this year's Top Prospects game which is to be held at the Metro Centre. Two stars playing for the Mooseheads were named to Team Cherry; Nathan MacKinnon and Jonathan Drouin. Nathan will serve as captain and Jonathan will be his alternate.
Team Cherry will be coached by Don Cherry, captained by MacKinnon, and the alternates are Drouin and Darnell Nurse (Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of OHL)
Team Orr will be coached by former NHL player and Stanley Cup champion Mike McPhee, captained by Seth Jones (Portland Winterhawks of WHL), and the alternates are Sean Monahan (Ottawa 67`s of OHL) and Hunter Shinkaruk (Medicine Hat Tigers of WHL).
